Methods and tooling – what sets us apart

What a terrazzo restoration company actually does is not complicated to describe and it is difficult to do well. Grind off the years. Fill and match the damage. Work down through the progression until the surface holds a clean reflection. Seal it and burnish it. The gap between companies is in the choices made for equipment, tooling, method, and products.

We spent years testing and modifying our methods, choosing tooling based on what our own testing showed to be most effective rather than what cost the least.

Repairs are the specialty

Patchwork is matched two ways: marble aggregate that matches the size and mix already in your floor, and resin color matched in indirect natural light. We carry over 70 varieties and sizes of aggregate to match from, so you get the closest match possible.

Tack strip damage, slab trenches from re-pipes, termite treatment holes, gouging from old tile, bad gray patches left by other trades: that is the daily work here, and we have filled tens of thousands of them.

What we will not do

We will not tell you a floor can be saved when it cannot, and we will not quote a number that grows once the machines are unloaded. We look at every floor in person before putting a number on it, and you hear the honest answer then.
