This 1972 terrazzo on Manasota Key was never covered, but it wasn't taken care of. When the house changed owners, we were hired to resurface it.

The terrazzo in this 1972 house on Manasota Key was never covered by carpet or tile. It just wasn't taken care of, and over the years it had gone dull and stained.
When the house changed owners, we were hired to resurface the floor. We also patched about 2 square feet by the sliding glass door. We didn't get a before photo of that spot, so the close-up shows the finished patch only.
It's a beautiful floor, and we love how it came out. It's the showpiece of the house again. Polished terrazzo is easy to maintain and lasts a long time, so with a little care it will stay this way.
